IARC Monograph on Air Pollution now available

September 6th, 2016

Regular readers of this blog will remember (of course!) our October 2013 post about the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) announcing that air pollution, and PM10 specifically, is a Group 1 carcinogen being causative for lung cancer.  And, (not to go on about it), IARC made the point of noting that although the composition of air pollution and levels of exposure can vary dramatically between locations, the conclusions of the Working Group apply to all regions of the world.

Well it took a couple of years but the supporting monograph has finally been published (actually back in March, but we only just found out about it).

Dedicated air quality professionals are directed to Volume 109 (2016) Outdoor Air Pollution.

Happy reading!
